It's the Winter Solstice with the longest night of the year and, after that, the gradual return of light. In celebration, here's 2 linocuts I made as part of the Mirrors of the Heart card deck. Good health, peaceful nights and returning daylight to you.
As we move into winter in the north, I'll be counting the seconds as longer days return.

Continuing with the theme of night near the winter solstice, Night of Peace is a small felt wall hanging I made in 2011. It's made of synthetic felt that I hand stitched with cotton embroidery thread. You can see more details in my etsy shop.
