This week I completed the Day of the Angel mixed media piece that I showed in its initial stage in my previous post. I began it as a collage of early wood and linocuts. Over the week I added drawing with pigment markers and water soluble pencils.
Here in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice occurred two days ago. I’m always heartened to know the sunlight is beginning its second by second return. Whether or not you mark or celebrate holidays at this time of year, I wish you good health. May you feel the light that is within you.
