When I first looked at your post in email, the photos hadn’t loaded, so I was eagerly anticipating what the references would be – a concrete mural, a beetle?! I know now that there was a clue in the title. Excellent drawings (and photos), they bring out what is there but in a new, interesting way.
Thanks so much. I love your first idea about what the references might be. And, yes, the rock and its reflection does look like a large insect to me too. I often find glitches in my posts after I’ve uploaded them. I handled this discovery pretty well without getting too disturbed about what, in the scheme of things, was a very minor problem.
