Last week we went east out of town along Lake Ontario. We spent time in a small village and in three different Provincial Parks, walking along the beaches and a marsh boardwalk, watching gulls, terns, tiny fast walking birds, swans and egrets. It was a time both of quiet and of listening to the waves and birds, looking at the sky and feeling our energy restored.
One day we went to a small Provincial Park called North Beach that’s actually a large sandbar. A thunderstorm was brewing and the waves were crashing. We watched the dramatic clouds in the sky moving closer to us and retreated to our car once we saw lightning and heard thunder. Here’s a few of the photos from September 26th that I took with my phone.
Stunning clouds! Great photographs.
Thank you. Yes, the clouds were amazing and being right there on the beach added to their impact on us.
