Here’s the third abstract linocut I made in 2006. It’s another small one–5″ x 7.” I made the design from the shapes of fibres on a piece of wool felt I had made. I printed the image right side up and upside down on itself. When I looked at it, I saw a mask like shape looking intently at me which lead me to the title.
I have made art works all my life. Arts of May shows some of my explorations in different media and the inspiration I take from other artists and works. An earlier blog, of humans and nature, concentrates on my photographs of natural places that help my spirit.
