This afternoon I learned that a friend’s son in law had been murdered in a random act of violence. I never knew her son in law, but had heard about his death on the news in the morning without knowing their relationship. After hearing this sorrowful news, I was writing. On the wall opposite me the curtains were casting these shadows in which I saw a divided heart and a bird.
I have made art works all my life. Arts of May shows some of my explorations in different media and the inspiration I take from other artists and works. An earlier blog, of humans and nature, concentrates on my photographs of natural places that help my spirit.
