As you can see, on this blog I like to meander around among the art work I’ve done. This time I’ll return to another oil painting I made. In 2007, after photographing a friend’s garden in the countryside, I painted this. It was a challenge for me, because I’d never done anything quite like it. I ended up giving the painting to my friend and his family.
I later made a tiny painting of the same garden. It’s 5″ x 7″, very loosely done, like a sketch. I’ve kept this one, which is hanging on a wall behind me as I write this.
