Anna Torma at The Textile Museum

There is a small, excellent museum in Toronto called the Textile Museum of Canada. It re-opened recently and I went there on the weekend to see the work of one of my favourite artists, Anna Torma. She does large scale hand embroidered pieces that are spectacular. Her exhibition is called Permanent Danger after a piece she completed in 2017.

Here are photos I took of two of the works. Permanent Danger is perhaps eight or 10 feet high and is a two sided reflection. The other work is called Party with Dionysos, made between 2008 and 2015.
