Most of the bright autumn colours have subsided in Toronto. But late autumn has still been a wonderful gift. Here’s two photos I took this past weekend on a walk by ponds and among trees in and around Evergreen Brickworks.
While walking in these protected places, I continue to think of the Palestinian civilians that are massively being killed in Gaza by the Israeli military. And, so, I continue to make raw drawings, two of which I show below. These drawings help me remain open to what I’m hearing and reading.

I have made art works all my life. Arts of May shows some of my explorations in different media and the inspiration I take from other artists and works. An earlier blog, of humans and nature, concentrates on my photographs of natural places that help my spirit.
